Netwrked
Netwrked is a referral recruiting platform for legal associates. Netwrked allows job-seeking associates to match with employees at firms they would like to join and get a referral. As a startup, Netwrked partnered with Valtira to develop their iOS App a minimum viable product allowing them to enter the market.
Needs and Challenges
Netwrked and Valtira partnered to first define what functionality absolutely needed to be included in the MVP. As a startup, being conscious of budget was key to creating the first iteration of the app. Valtira helped to reduce and simplify the app so that it could be built within budget and on a timeline suitable for the associate recruiting industries high season.
Netwrked is a referral recruiting platform for legal associates. Netwrked allows job-seeking associates to match with employees at firms they would like to join and get a referral. The app is different from traditional recruiting methods as it empowers employees to vet candidates and refer them to hiring managers. Employees are incentivized by receiving referral bonuses for hired candidates.
Solution
- Valtira designed, architected, and built the MVP version of the iOS app in a 3-month timeframe with candidate matching and secure video and chat functionality included.
- We fast-followed with an administrative dashboard where admins could pull and track matching data in the platform.
UX and Visual Design
The UX team designed a logo and brand guidelines for the new company and then incorporated the elements into the app design. We also created lo-fi wireframes to help determine MVP app functionality requirements. Our team also created branded app icons by utilizing the Lottie animation framework.
Technical Architecture
The iOS app was built in React Native with custom integrations for chat and video call services.
Improvements and Metrics
The app was well-received and had over 1,000 downloads in the first month via marketing initiatives and word of mouth.
